A serial inventor, Don’s a driven entrepreneur who’s passionate about elegant engineering and simple solutions to complex problems.
With inventions spanning the parking, real estate, aeronautical and AI industries, he’s nurtured over 30 patents, 6 grandchildren, and an exuberant helicopter hobby.
Currently the CEO for Greentech Robotics, working on a robotics solution for agriculture, he also leads the technology development at Frogparking where he’s the technical director.
Don’s gift to the world is a series of life changing machines that work smarter than their predecessors, and the legacy of a masterful team of engineers and developers practicing an elegant approach to problem solving.
Malcolm holds a Bachelor of AgriCommerce (Agricultural Economics) from Massey University and is a former National President of Federated Farmers, Westpac Director, and was a Fonterra Director for 12 years. He has also been a Special Agriculture Trade Envoy for the New Zealand Government, a business owner, and company director.
Away from the boardroom, Malcolm enjoys tennis, being out on the water in a boat with friends on a sunny day, skiing, or reading. He is also a fan of carpentry and building stuff with his hands.
Rob is an experienced commercial manager who never runs out of creative ideas. He holds directorships in a diverse range of companies in the primary, waste processing, software development and property sector. Rob has also owned Ag related businesses in Australia and the USA.
He has a passion for international sales and business development with a focus on building distribution networks. Originally from the Netherlands he calls Palmerston North home and is a past board member of New Zealand Agritech Inc.
Rob makes the most delicious meat patties in the world, loves mountain biking and red-lining his wife's Porsche.
With 8 years working in telecommunication and smart parking software development industry, Chris gains wide experience of software engineering, including architecture designing, software coding, testing and maintaining.
Chris has been living in his second homeland New Zealand for many years and he enjoys eating 'fish and chups' with his 'bros' on the 'beech' very much. After work, he likes doing home DIY projects, practicing Chinese cooking and spending some time hiking and playing Taiji.
Will is a Software Engineer at Greentech specialising in Robotics. He has contributed to a variety of systems on the Weedspider project. When he isn't at work, you can find him enjoying his electronics projects.
A jack-of- all-trades and master of many, Jay is responsible for preparing parts for shipment to happy customers, fabricating and assembling components, being the boss of the workshop, and being a helpful hand in general./p>
In his spare time, Jay the silverback is either playing PC Games, hanging out with his Red nose Pitbull, or working on hotrods or motorbikes. His ultimate holiday is cruising along Route 66 on a sunny day in the US in a rsweet hotrod ?sounds good to us!
Since the start of his employment as a Robotics Engineer at Greentech Robotics, Jim has been working on the Weed Spider autonomous weeding robot. Jim is developing software that controls the weeding arms of the Weed Spider and generates trajectories between weeding targets.. Outside of work, Jim enjoys running, playing video games, and watching anime.
Jono specialises in epic tree houses and found fame on George Clark's amazing spaces. Jono is a great fit for the fast-paced environment at Greentech Robotics, he has the ability to take any challenge thrown at him and create a masterpiece.
Josh is our Production Manager. He handles workshop logistics and WeedSpider production. He is also the developer of SeedSpider App. Dealing with customer support for SeedSpider and working with the SeedSpider web team. Away from work, Josh can be found: dancing, gaming, or covered in oil working on car projects.
Sam enjoys the best of both worlds at Greentech focusing on business and tech. In his spare time Sam can be found organising community initiatives to get more people to engage in STEM. He also enjoys killing house plants.
Sam is a Software Engineer, working primarily on Greentechs user facing systems, both internal and external. He is also the resident Tim Tam moderator and biscuit connoisseur. When he isn’t sampling biscuits at Greentech you can find him writing code for many of Greentech’ s projects. After work Sam likes to build computers and write comics.
